San Bernardino County Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. is providing $200,000 in funding to support stadium seating improvements at the Western Regional Little League Headquarters in San Bernardino, helping enhance the experience for young athletes, families and spectators who visit the facility.

The planned improvements include replacing the stadium’s current seating with 1,520 new green seats. The new seats will be durable, clearly numbered and include accessible seating options for people with disabilities. The proposed seating system also includes 16 ADA flip-up end stanchions, along with new row letters and seat numbers, helping modernize the stadium while improving accessibility and the overall spectator experience.

“Little League brings our community together and gives young people a place to grow, compete and build lasting memories,” said Supervisor Baca. “These improvements will benefit local families while giving our athletes a facility they can be proud of when teams and visitors from across the region come to San Bernardino.”

The Little League Western Regional Headquarters, located at 6707 Little League Drive in San Bernardino, serves as an important destination for Little League Baseball and Softball activities in the western United States. The proposed stadium seating project is estimated at $397,500, with Supervisor Baca providing $200,000 toward the improvements.

“We are grateful to Supervisor Baca for this important investment,” said Kit Golden, Western Regional Director. “These improvements will enhance accessibility and help ensure our stadium remains a welcoming place where young athletes, families and communities from across the West can come together and experience what Little League is all about.”
