$83,000 for Colton PD Motorcycles
Supervisor Baca has allotted $83,772 in Discretionary Funding for the Colton Police Department to acquire 3 new motorcycles for their motor program.
$3M from Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation for Pacific Village Phase II
Through the San Manuel Cares Grant, Yuhaviaatam of San Manuel Nation has generously given $3 million toward the completion of Pacific Village Phase II. This phase will include:
- 58 permanent supportive housing units
- 32 recuperative care beds for individuals transitioning from hospital care
- A 16-bed residential substance use disorder treatment facility
County Commits $10M for 5th & Meridian Affordable Housing Project
Approval of a funding commitment up to $10,052,000 ($5,000,000 HOME + $5,052,000 HOME-ARP) to support application for state Low-Income Housing Tax Credits for the 5th & Meridian project. This project will create a 106-unit affordable housing community on a vacant 3.8-acre City-owned site, with 22 units dedicated to Transitional Age Youth (18–24).
$17.8M Contract for Enhanced Adult Residential Facility in Muscoy
San Bernardino County is approving a $17.8 million contract with Helping Hearts Kern, LLC to operate an Enhanced Adult Residential Facility in Muscoy, CA, providing high-level mental health treatment, supervision, and support for justice-involved and high-acuity clients transitioning from locked facilities into community-based care through 2030.
County Approves $2M Contract to Enhance 9-1-1 Nurse and Behavioral Health Response System
San Bernardino County is approving a $2.04 million contract with the Consolidated Fire Agencies Joint Powers Authority (CONFIRE) to support the Emergency Communications Nurse System through 2028, allowing 9-1-1 dispatch centers to pair registered nurses with County behavioral health social workers to quickly assess crisis calls and ensure residents receive the right care at the right time—whether emergency medical response or immediate behavioral health support.
$0 Adoptions with San Bernardino County Animal Care
San Bernardino County’s animal shelters will offer free pet adoptions through June 30, 2027, or until the $30,000 Community Concerns Reserve allocation is exhausted.
