Bloomington
We have made significant investments in the Bloomington community to improve safety, infrastructure, and overall quality of life. Here is a list of our achievements and initiatives that have positively impacted Bloomington.

Law Enforcement:
- Two (2) Sheriffs: Increased law enforcement presence in Bloomington for enhanced safety and security.
- Bloomington decal on Sheriff’s car: Customized sheriff vehicles to signify their presence and commitment to the community.
- Shifts (including weekends): Ensured round-the-clock coverage and availability, including weekends, to respond to community needs.

Code Enforcement:
Dedicated Code Enforcement Officer (1): Assigned a dedicated officer to address code violations and maintain community standards.

Parks:
Two (2) Full-time Maintenance Workers for Kessler and Ayala Park: Employed full-time workers to maintain and improve Kessler and Ayala Parks, ensuring they are well-kept and safe for residents.

Kessler Park Revitalization:
Kessler Park Revitalization Project:
- $45,000 Mendoza Monuments
- $20,000 Slurry Seal Parking Lot
- $4,000 BBQ Grill coal receptacles and Picnic Tables
- $2.6M Basketball lighting, WiFi project, Corridor and Fencing

Bloomington – New Ayala Community Center Mural:
- Completed South wall Mural: Successfully completed a mural on the south wall of the Ayala Community Center.
- West wall contest: Organized a contest for mural artwork on the west wall.
- Potential for local schools to paint murals: Provided opportunities for local schools to contribute to the community by painting murals.
- Mural approved: Approved a mural project to enhance the appearance of the community center.

Bloomington – Kessler Park (Mendoza Monuments):
- Coordinated Ribbon Cutting: Collaborated with the 5th District for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
- Sign and Scoreboard Installation: Installed signs and scoreboards for the park.
- Benches and Monument Installation: Added benches and a monument to improve park amenities.

Bloomington High School Baseball and Softball Field Improvements (Colton Joint Unified School District):
Investment of $1,800,000: Provided significant funding to improve baseball and softball fields at Bloomington High School in collaboration with the Colton Joint Unified School District.
