San Bernardino, CA – Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. announced the allocation of $750,000 to the City of San Bernardino for much-needed improvements at Gutierrez Park. This funding will primarily benefit the KKC Little League and honor the legacy of the Gutierrez family.

The investment will support several key upgrades to the park, including baseball field lighting improvements, infield renovations, and a new scoreboard among many others.

“The improvements at Gutierrez Park represent a commitment to our youth and the importance of recreational spaces in our community,” said Supervisor Baca. “I’m proud to support the KKC Little League and the Gutierrez family, ensuring that our children have safe, high-quality facilities to enjoy.”

These enhancements are expected to significantly benefit the KKC Little League, creating a positive environment for young athletes to develop their skills and engage with their community.

“We’re so grateful for the investment in Ray Gutierrez Park and the investment in the children of our city,” said Jose Cisneros, grandson of Raymond Gutierrez. “These improvements honor my grandfather’s legacy and will continue to give children a safe place to play and grow.”

The County of San Bernardino is excited about the improvements and looks forward to seeing the positive impact on local families and athletes.
