San Bernardino, CA.- On Tuesday, August 23rd Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. along with the rest of the Board of Supervisors approved funding for projects that will be located within the Colton Joint Unified School District. This action is in response to the American Rescue Plan Act – Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund Subrecipient Contracts in accordance with the approved Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funding Spending Plan. The approved item will provide both Bloomington High School baseball and softball fields, and Joe Baca Middle School’s soccer field improvements and project plans to promote exercise by providing the students and the community better opportunities to access quality outdoor recreational spaces.
