Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. is bringing major outdoor court renovations at Fergusson Park in partnership with the City of Rialto. The project will enhance recreation opportunities by resurfacing two and a half basketball courts, replacing three basketball posts, backboards, and hoops, resurfacing one tennis court, and converting another tennis court into four permanent pickleball courts.

Cynthia Alvarado, Rialto’s Parks & Recreation Director, shared: “These renovations at Fergusson Park will bring new life to our outdoor courts and allow us to serve both traditional athletes and the growing number of residents who enjoy pickleball. It’s about making sure everyone in our community has access to safe and inviting recreational spaces.”

These improvements will provide residents of all ages with safe, modern, and versatile spaces to enjoy sports and outdoor activities.

“Parks like Fergusson Park are where families come together to play, exercise, and build community,” said Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. “By investing in these upgrades, we’re expanding recreational opportunities and ensuring Rialto has facilities that match the needs of today’s residents.”
