San Bernardino County Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. has approved funding allocation of up to $49,950 to support critical infrastructure repairs at Mary’s Mercy Center in San Bernardino. The funding, provided through the Board of Supervisors Discretionary Fund will go toward elevator repairs at the Mary’s Haven facility.
“We are incredibly grateful to Supervisor Baca and the County of San Bernardino for supporting the elevator repairs at Mary’s Haven,” said Dan Flores, Executive Director of Mary’s Mercy Center. “Maintaining a safe and accessible environment is essential, and this funding helps us meet that need while continuing to focus on serving families in our care.”
Mary’s Haven serves as a vital resource for expectant mothers and children in San Bernardino, offering shelter, transitional housing, and supportive services. The elevator repair project will ensure the facility remains accessible and fully operational for residents and staff.
