Muscoy, CA – Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. unveiled new deputies assigned to serve the unincorporated community of Muscoy. This collaboration between San Bernardino County and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department marks a significant step forward in enhancing safety and support for the Muscoy community.
“Today is about more than just introducing our amazing deputies—it’s about bringing peace of mind to our families”, said Supervisor Baca, Jr. “These deputies will play a crucial role in enhancing safety and providing the security that the families of Muscoy deserve.”
Supervisor Baca, Jr. emphasized the importance of this initiative, not just in bolstering safety but also in fostering a sense of security for local families. Captain Collins of the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department reinforced this message by highlighting the personal ties many of the deputies have to the area, deepening their commitment to the community. “Several of our staff were born and raised in Muscoy. They know the community and what it takes to improve safety and communication with the community,” said Captain Collins.
As the community looks to the future, this initiative is just one of the many efforts aimed at creating a safer, more supportive environment for Muscoy’s families.
“In the past, Muscoy didn’t have any streetlights or proper roads, now we have all of that and new deputies to protect our children and families,” said Muscoy Resident, Ana Campos. “We’re very grateful to Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. for all he’s done in our community.”
