Rosena Ranch, CA – August 5, 2024 – The highly anticipated street sweeping pilot program in Rosena Ranch has launched. San Bernardino County, along with partners: Burrtec Waste Industries Inc., and CMAX addresses the community’s past requests for enhanced street cleaning services, reflecting the County’s commitment to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for unincorporated residents.

The one-year pilot program, running from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, aims to enhance the visual appeal of Rosena Ranch’s neighborhoods while offering significant environmental benefits. By removing trash and debris from the streets, the program significantly improves the neighborhood’s appearance and prevents pollutants from entering stormwater drainage systems, thus protecting local waterways.

“We are excited to launch this pilot program, which highlights our dedication to enhancing the living conditions and environmental quality for our unincorporated residents,” said Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr, San Bernardino County Fifth District Supervisor. “We look forward to the positive impact this program will have on our community.”

The program is made possible through an agreement with Burrtec Waste Industries Inc., ensuring that residents of Rosena Ranch receive these essential services at zero cost to them. Supervisor Baca, Jr., expressed his appreciation to, Burrtec Waste Industries Inc., CMAX, and the Rosena Ranch Homeowners Association (HOA), for their invaluable support and collaboration in making this service possible.

The County of San Bernardino is excited about the launch of this program and is committed to serving its residents.
