San Bernardino, CA. – San Bernardino County Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. went to the streets of Bloomington and Muscoy to physically count the homeless population. The results of the Homeless Count and Subpopulation Survey will provide the County and local cities with benchmark numbers to receive appropriate federal funding to better assist homeless people to exit life on the streets. Supervisor Baca was teamed up with volunteers, the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department’s H.O.P.E. team and the Social Work Action Group (SWAG) on the ground to enhance the progress around the issue of homelessness in the Fifth District
